Manchester Academy

From metal to indie, Feeder to Ministry, moshing to swaying and Converse to nu-rock boots; the Academy is a Manchester landmark. Being the venue of choice for some pretty amazing worldwide bands and hosting 'Academy Unsigned', where fresh talent gets its shot at an up-for-it crowd, there's more music than you can chuck a roadie at. So grab a pint of lager and sing/shout along. Or maybe dabble in a little air guitar. It's not renowned for its trendy clientele and refined, lounge-lizard behaviour, so you should get away with it just fine.
