Sinclair's Oyster Bar

Not the place for the claustrophobically-inclined among us; Sinclair's is not known for its spacious interior. Especially in summer, when sunburnt old men pack in for all-day sessions. As 17th century folk were only about 4'2, remember to watch those ceilings. But these are small (ahem) drawback. This traditional, wood-panelled pub has survived many near-knock-downs and we're sure there's a reason it still stands proudly beside modern behemoths like Selfridges and Harvey Nichols. The food is simple and good value; including, surprisingly enough, oysters.
