The Thirsty Scholar

Ah, the Scholar. The whole experience has a sepia tinge about it, effortlessly ebbing homeliness. It also carries sound rather well, with architecture reminiscent of a cave – so perhaps don't bitch too loudly about that ironically, non-student customer (along with his posingly-serious paper), who's played Bowie's Golden Years on the free jukebox for the fifth time today. The drinks often come in trophy-style glasses, which we suspect may be a non-too-shrewd attempt to justify their high prices. But honestly, you can admire them for hours – they're quite something.
