The Island @ Pure

Members of Pure's VIP club, The Island, are a very particular breed of clubber. Perched in the heavens of the Printworks super-club, they sip champagne rather than bottles of VK, arrive in chauffeur-driven cars rather than the Magic Bus, and are rarely spotted sporting any kind of micro-denim. A multitude of lounges and function rooms, cocktail mixologists and – we suspect – a confidentiality agreement for the minor celebs in attendance. Not a surprise, bearing in mind their somewhat pathetic tagline: 'What is said and done never leaves The Island'. That £45 a month appears well-earned.
