Trendy graphics on the walls? Check. Young, optimistic students everywhere? Check. Cutesy specials board including the word 'yummy'? Check. Nestled between two rough-ish boozers on Wilmslow Road, this veggie caff attempts to bring Northern Quarter chic to Withington. The quirks get a bit grating – there's a large Hasselhoff poster and kiddies' sweets on sale – but the cheap, delicious scran makes up for it. There's frequent music from local labels upstairs but get in early, as there's space for about ten, max.
