Stepping into Pop Boutique is to be a smug, drama school extra from The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe. Once you've pushed through the slightly musty outer layer you find yourself in a completely different world – full of retro clothing, as many vintage teapots as you can carry and a great little café. It's designed to appeal to everyone who wishes the youth of the nation listened more to The Rolling Stones than to Razorlight – which is, let's face it, most of us.
