The shudder-inducing notion of rented shoes aside, bowling isn't just a game for single parents and bored children. It's also a game for bored students and lacklustre dates too. Some of Itchy's most intense existential panics have been induced by being presented with limp, over-priced, insipid chicken in a basket at bowling lanes. In defence, there are few finer feelings than rolling a spherical mass down an alley and getting a strike. Indeed, the chances of this happening are greatly increased if you roll two balls down the alley at the same time. Three's just greedy.
