Academy 1 is the biggest of this trio of venues, located deep in the heart of Studentonia, while visitors to Academy 2 and 3 are likely find the drummer's sweat landing in their plastic cup of beer. Choose from relatively big names or risk it with an unsigned set; you might be able to say that your eardrums were burst by feedback from the next big thing back when they were wee, or maybe just that you were deafened by sonic piss. You could always stand outside the venues and watch the dodgy ticket touts get into scraps with each other, too. That's always entertaining.
