The Palace Theatre and The Opera House

The two premium venues for fans of ballet and iambic pentameter. The Palace is the more mainstream of the two, hosting everything from West End musicals to shows for screaming five year olds. The Opera House is a bit more upmarket and you'll probably catch the latest washed out comic struggling to pay the rent up here. If you fancy a night of sophistication away from the Xbox and drawl of London accents in Eastenders then you should head up to these venues pronto. That is, unless you tragically pick a play featuring Dean Gaffney. Playing an Xbox.
