One Night Stand

To ensure the Great Drambuie Massacre of 2003 isn't repeated (a disgruntled bar employee, sick of hearing the remix of Ninety-Nine Red Balloons covered himself and the entire clientele in 16 bottles of whisky and torched the lot), it's now government policy that bars have at least one night off from loud dance music. Hence, many of Manchester's bars now opt to include a comedy night in their repertoire, and they're usually pretty decent.
