Mint Lounge
Cross Moulin Rouge with Lost in Translation, add a pinch of dirty disco and wrap it all up in a Cuban cigar, and you're some way to understanding the appeal of Mint Lounge. Originally touted as a burlesque club when it opened back in 2004, the feather boas and nipple tassles may have shimmied away but the Mint Lounge remains a decadent, seedy underground den for Manchester's alternative clubbing crowd. Intimate and charismatic, this is a sleazy, sexy and funky hybrid bar/club, with some of the city's best club nights plus live music events.
