The Old House at Home
The Old House used to be a decent boozer, but it sold its soul. We'd like to tell them that adding gaming machines, chalk-board menus and alcopops does not automatically attract students, but we'd be too late. It does a range of bland, homogenised pub grub, Sunday lunch and curry nights, but is no competition for its neighbouring pubs and restaurants. On the upside, it's cheap, friendly and has ample space and screens for showing the football. The Old House is a family pub, so expect little nippers on a Sunday asking you if you like Action Men.
