The Drop Inn
Sky Sports, two pool tables, ample space and £1.50 on selected bottles. That's the good news, but it's all downhill from there. Located in Studentsville between Withington and Fallowfield, on the main route in towards the university, the Drop Inn is the sort of place you spend the drinks tokens from your fresher's handbook and then, like that drunken fumble you had in fresher's week, look back on with a curious mix of embarrassment, shame and inexplicable nostalgia.
