Snook

Snook is a bar that's too cool to put its name above the door. We suspect this is because it wanted to be one of those hidden away kind of places - the kind that you just have to know about. Unfortunately it finds itself plonked, not very exclusively at all, right on Wilmslow road, so it's forced to compensate. When the self-congratulatory glow of finding the place wears off, there's also porn thoughtfully projected onto the wall just so that regulars can feel smug for understanding it as an ironic post-modern statement on societal hang-ups about female sexuality. Maybe.
