Quite what this pub protects us Brits from is somewhat of a mystery; we don't think it's an embassy, and we somewhat doubt its jurisdictional credentials. Nevertheless, if we were being chased by a bunch of angry Argentinians then this would be our first port of call. Not for sanctuary you understand, but rather because we'd buy them a drink to calm them down. They'd remark how they enjoyed the classy interior. They'd comment on the 200-plus range of whiskies. They'd pat us on the back and forgive us for stealing their chickens, for a while anyway.
