Red, Orange or Green? Singletons flock to Vanilla on Friday nights for a traffic light night and, we're assured, effortless girl on girl action. What with £2 bottles and shooter deals, this is a great bar not only for the lesbians of Manchester, but also for the more liberal boys about town. Pool, sport and a laid–back atmosphere are definites, attractive ladies, not so much. However, with regular theme nights such as Gash Trash, Midweek Action and the F Word – the later a twice monthly Saturday night drink–filled fest that goes on 'til 4 am –, Vanilla can't fail to deliver.
