Sinclair's Oyster Bar
One amazing fact about this pub and the two others next door, The Wellington and The Mitre, is that they were moved brick by brick from Shambles Square which was destroyed by the bomb in 1996 – now replaced by the largest M&S in Europe, unfortunately –. Sinclair's does fantastic oysters, but then again it wouldn't have name a like that if it didn't. Although you'll find Barcardi Breezers in their fridge, the beer that they serve is slightly more obscure, with lots of fantastic wheat beers on tap replacing your typical Stellas and Kronenbourgs. Worth checking out on a regular basis, as its upper level is cosy with many nooks and crannies to discover and in the summer it has outside seating for shopping–weary punters.
