The Quay Bar
The Quay bar is a tidy–looking bar right on the canal. The décor is a nice mix of wood, glass and stainless steel and there's a cool wooden deck outside for those rare summer moments. I hate to sound up my own but basically, it's far too good for its clientele. There's been a really grievous mismatch every time I go. It's like holding a chimp's tea party in the Louvre. On any given weekend, expect to find a bad school disco for 20 to 30 somethings with a peroxide fifth former at the helm, screaming that S Club 7 are going to show me how to do it. No they're not, not in here anyway.
