A very chic bar indeed. The stainless steel washbasin shared by the girls and boys, the clean toilets, the chillin' balcony, the stylish decor –in fact, I'm tempted to slag it off so I've got more chance of getting in. The downstairs restaurant is the focus until 10.30. The food's ace – great range of sea food – and like the booze it's reasonable – Bollinger under £50, most wine under £15 –. The music is kept low to respect your conversation. After this, go upstairs and relax at the waited tables 'til the DJ's funky garage tunes get you up and groovin'. Management have done an excellent job of getting the vibe right and it looks like they're determined to keep it like it is. Book or get there early. Big groups of lads should try next door.
