Baa Bar

Baa Bar is the end bar on Deansgate Locks, and is that little bit different to the others. It would be hard to review it without mentioning two features that always stand out. Firstly the vast number of glitter–balls on the ceiling – must be a record –, which could fool you into thinking that every night is disco night, when in fact the music's a touch more mellow. The second unusual feature is that the unisex toilets – yes boys, now you too have to queue – have small windows from each cubical into the bar –definitely different. The drinks aren't over pricey – they do some great offers during the week – and there's usually a bit of room to move, or you can sit down on the leather sofas that line the walls. Although bear in mind the place is especially well–known for its lack of accessible seating. That and 2–1 shooters. Boo and hoorah respectively.
