This is a classy five star eating experience. Thoroughly splendid in every way – the décor – though not entirely authentic – is thoughtfully reminiscent of the richness of the Far East with this vast space adorned with chandeliers, rugs, yellow walls, pillars and balconies, the wine list is extensive, the service outstanding – nothing is too much trouble – and the food simply delicious. For an added bonus PerSia really comes to life at the weekends or on special occasions, with belly dancers, snake charmers and live music. A very colourful and enjoyable night out – shame you have to step out onto rainy Peter Street or Deansgate at the end of the evening rather than on to warm sands–.
