Pizza Express

It's official - Pizza Express has actually bought Manchester. More prolific in the city now than Mc Donalds - you've got a whopping four to choose from. The menu's are all the same -you've probably already got your Pizza Express favourite. All the pizzas are delicious - if slightly on the small side - and the dough balls are the stuff of legends. This chain certainly knows how to pick lovely buildings and perfect locations -from the old high-vaulted ceilings of the West Didsbury branch, to the modern clean lines of the King Street one. It's one of those places you can always rely on to deliver -and there isn't a bad one out of any of these. Though if you're in a rush I'd go to the Peter Street branch as that tends to be the quietest.
