Pizza Express

It's official – Pizza Express has actually bought Manchester. More prolific in the city now than Mc Donalds – you've got a whopping four to choose from. The menu's are all the same –you've probably already got your Pizza Express favourite. All the pizzas are delicious – if slightly on the small side – and the dough balls are the stuff of legends. This chain certainly knows how to pick lovely buildings and perfect locations –from the old high–vaulted ceilings of the West Didsbury branch, to the modern clean lines of the King Street one. It's one of those places you can always rely on to deliver –and there isn't a bad one out of any of these. Though if you're in a rush I'd go to the Peter Street branch as that tends to be the quietest.
