Afflecks Palace

Afflecks Palace has been around for eighteen years now, no wonder then that it has become a bit of a Manchester institution. This huge building in the Northern Quarter is a rabbit warren of small shops set out like market stalls. Selling mainly alternative clobber, you'll find anything from antique jewellery to fetish gear. Afflecks houses two hairdressers specialising in more unusual haircuts and you won't find it hard to get any part of your body pierced in here either. There's also a café on level one and three to chill and admire your new fluorescent wonderbra.
