Museum of Science and Industry
Manchester gives itself a good old pat on the back for being the ultimate industrial city for a really long time. Unfortunately, the heady days of steam trains and weaving machines isn't half as fun as the interactive science bit upstairs at the Museum of Science and Industry. Watch school children hyperventilate with excitement over the myriad of buttons to press and noises to create, then rub their noses in it by showing them just how much stuff you can afford from the gift shop.
