Gastronomic god Paul Heathcote is slowly taking over the Northwest with his chain of well–respected eateries. Simply Heathcotes is simply lush. Posh without being intimidating, you can relax here safe in the knowledge that everything on the menu is cooked with care, 21st century and GM–free – although the hefty menu prices will tell you that anyway. Fear not – special offers make Simply Heathcote a bit more affordable if you've still got a wait until payday. It's nice to see staff who are able to pronounce the menu and plonk down a plate without scowling too. This guy just won't let local food die –good on him.
